Women Empowerment Program
For three days between 2nd to 4th December 2021, we were upbeat in delivering our specially packaged “Military Widows Project” at the Mambilla Barracks in Asokoro district, Abuja.
Tagged “Business management training”, the Bootstrap project, orgainsed in partnership with Strategy and Innovation for Development Initiative (SI4DEV), with our focus on adding value and empowering the beneficiaries to live an impactful life through education, sponsorship, and mentorship.
SI4DEV shares Our vision of assisting women at the grassroots and empowering them with business management skills for self-reliance which made them the perfect organization to collaborate with on this project.
Since kicking off the programme in May 2021, We have remained unwavering in its resolve to continuously put smiles on the faces of beneficiaries.
Already driving phase two of the project as a follow up based on the needs identified during the May 2021 outing, where we promised to provide specific and much-needed relief items; financial assistance; and a three-day training on vital business management skills, which we now held as stated above.
As part of our culture we will continually train and coach all beneficiaries on more ways to improve their businesses and overall well-being.
With an unwavering focus on an effective engagement with the Widows, we penciled down the following locations for activities going forward:
Mambilla Barracks, Lungi Barracks, and Yaradua Barracks all in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
